On June 1, 2011, Cam Crawford became the president and CEO of the Forestry Association of South Carolina. Cam serves as the Co-Chair of the South Carolina Forest Recovery Task Force. He previously served as Chairman of the Palmetto Agribusiness Council, served as Chairman of the Forest Industry Associations Council, on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance of Forest Owners, served as the Forestry Advisor to the South Carolina House of Representatives COVID-19 Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, and as a member of the American Forest Foundation’s Woodland Operating Committee. He is the grandson of Oliver Crawford, who started a logging company in 1948. The Crawford Family has been in the timber business for five generations.  Cam just completed writing his first book titled The History of Forestry in South Carolina that was published by the South Carolina Forestry Foundation in 2023. Cam lives in Lexington, South Carolina with his wife Betsy. They have two adult children, Libby Satterfield and Cameron Crawford and a granddaughter Everleigh Ruth Satterfield.
